The statement below must be signed and returned to the homeroom teacher within one (1) week after the student receives it. ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE THIS FORM ON FILE.

The Forrest City School District has made available the Parent/Student Handbook online for viewing and downloading. The Handbook is available on our website at https://mustang.grsc.k12.ar.us/. Once on the website, click on the Parent and Student Section to find the Handbook and Discipline Policy. We want to make sure that all parents and students have the opportunity to understand the rules and routines of the district. Please read this handbook carefully with your child. We ask that you sign this

I acknowledge that I have been informed that the Forrest City School District Handbook is located online and available to me for viewing and downloading. I have also been informed of my right to request a hard copy of the Parent/Student Handbook.

I have received the Forrest City School District Student Handbook including Conduct and Discipline Policy, and although we may not agree with all the regulations, we understand that the students must follow them while they are at school, on the bus and at school sponsored activities. If we are not entirely certain of some aspect of school policy, we will contact the principal for clarification within one week after receiving the handbook.

This document is prepared in accordance with Arkansas law (A.C.A.16-18-501-506 Arkansas State Law requires documentation of student and parent receipt of student discipline policies. This document will be included in the records packet for intra-district student transfers.
